Booking and appointments
- How do I request an appointment?
- Use the Book a Visit form or call the clinic. A request is not a confirmed booking — the team will contact you to agree a time that works.
- Can I ask for a particular dentist?
- Yes. You can mention a preferred dentist when you request a visit. The team will do their best to arrange it, depending on availability.
- What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
- Please let the practice know as early as you can by phone or email so the time can be offered to someone else. The team can explain the practice's rescheduling policy when you book.
Your visit
- What happens at a first visit?
- You will talk with your dentist about any concerns and your relevant history, have an examination, and discuss possible next steps. There is time to ask questions throughout.
- I feel nervous about the dentist. Can I tell the team?
- Please do. Letting the team know helps them plan your visit, explain each step and agree a signal you can use if you would like to pause.
- Can I bring someone with me?
- You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for support. Let the team know when you book so they can make space.
Costs and estimates
- How can I ask about treatment costs?
- Ask the team before your visit or your dentist during it. If treatment is suggested, you can request an estimate before agreeing to anything.
- Do you accept dental insurance or payment plans?
- Please contact the practice to ask about the payment options and insurance arrangements currently available. The team can explain what applies to you.
Urgent concerns
- What if I have an urgent dental concern?
- Call the clinic during opening hours and explain what is happening. If you believe you have a medical emergency, such as difficulty breathing or swallowing, contact your local emergency service.
