Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening lightens the natural shade of your teeth. At Molaris, whitening is supervised by a dentist and starts with a check that it is a sensible option for you.

What this treatment covers

Whitening works on natural tooth enamel. It does not change the colour of fillings, crowns or veneers, which can matter if you have restorations on visible teeth.

Results vary from person to person and are not permanent. Your dentist can explain what a realistic outcome might look like and how lifestyle factors affect it.

Some people experience temporary sensitivity during or after whitening. Your dentist will talk this through and explain how it can be managed.

What you may discuss with your dentist

  • Whether your teeth and gums are healthy enough for whitening
  • How existing fillings, crowns or veneers may look afterwards
  • Home whitening trays versus other approaches
  • Sensitivity, and what to do if you notice it
  • How long results may last and what can affect them
